In order to meet the needs of my clients, I offer my workshops in virtually and face-to-face and can be done in full or half-days formats. Virtual workshops can be done over the platform of your choice and a at a suitable time no matter where you are located. Each workshop is customized based on a needs analysis and then designed specifically for you.

Turning Conflict Into Positive Outcomes

Conflict is often the result of communication misunderstandings and expectations that were not shared clearly. Learning to have the ability to take a stressful situation, see it as a challenge and handle it with resilience allows successful management of relationships, while minimizing misunderstandings and improving overall outcomes. In this interactive workshop, participants will learn to leverage creative solutions in response to challenging situations in order to get positive results. They will develop strategies and skills for dealing with difficult people and circumstances. Participants will also learn to use the intention-outcome gap for giving feedback, how to have a difficult conversation and use solution-focus communication for moving forward to find solutions and resolve conflict.

Presentations

What skills does a good presenter need to make a presentation exceptional? A presenter needs to have a clear structure to their presentation and to develop the ability to involve and engage their audience with storytelling. They must also be able to communicate eloquently while masterfully handling questions and interruptions. Being able to find your individual style and be confident while being able to influence and persuade is also important. Presentations training is an interactive workshop that focuses on helping the participant become an accomplished and more confident presenter by focusing on posture, tone of voice, body language, structure, content, storytelling and visual aids.

The Art of Networking

Networking is not necessarily a skill that is instinctive and not everyone has a networking mindset. People might be shy, they might have difficulty approaching others or simply dread having to make small talk. In this workshop, participants will learn how to build and maintain their own networks by developing the necessary skills for success like active listening, empathy and emotional intelligence. These are skills that allow us to meaningful connections. This is a highly interactive workshop where participants will practice using small talk to find appropriate ways to start a conversation, how to keep the conversation going, and learn tips and tricks for networking in person and online.

   Giving Constructive Feedback

Feedback is a necessary and integral part of daily business life. It isn’t always easy to find the right way to provide feedback so that others are open to hearing it. Understanding what aspects are important for effective feedback and learning good communication strategies for framing the feedback in a way that helps the receiver feel supported enough to be open to the information shared is a good start.  Participants will learn to use diplomatic language and the intention-outcome gap to help their receiver see that their actions did not necessarily help them to reach their goal.
